A course overview video for the Muskoka Poker Run to help those coming to race with navigation during the race. We are getting EXCITED for this coming Saturday August 17th’s race!!
If you missed it the first year, you don’t want to miss it again. For those who raced last year … now you know the course. Starting at Hanna Park in Port Carling, this 22km race takes you down the Indian River and to five docks at the top end of Lake Muskoka and back to retrieve a full poker hand.
Congratulations to Kennedy Burrows, who placed 2nd out of more than 60 competitors in her category, on February 4th at the Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships in Toronto!!!!
With the new year practically upon us, it is the PERFECT time to start to get ready for some indoor rowing racing in 2018. These races are hosted all around the world, but for those in our area, there are two main races to attend.
Last Tuesday we had our annual Indian River Relay. As usual, we selected teams the morning of the race with a similar skill level across all teams. We had four teams vying for their hands to be painted out on the dock.
Come join us once again for the Indian River Relay. A fun event for rowers of all skill levels. Rowers from any club welcome, and please invite family and friends to come and watch.
