Kennedy Burrows of Hatchets Rowing Centre in Parry Sound places 3rd at two Indoor Rowing events: The Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships and The Ontario Indoor Rowing Championships.

A course overview video for the Muskoka Poker Run to help those coming to race with navigation during the race. We are getting EXCITED for this coming Saturday August 17th’s race!!

If you missed it the first year, you don’t want to miss it again. For those who raced last year … now you know the course. Starting at Hanna Park in Port Carling, this 22km race takes you down the Indian River and to five docks at the top end of Lake Muskoka and back to retrieve a full poker hand.

This weekend, two of our local rowers will be racing in the 73rd annual Canadian Secondary School Rowing Association Championships.

With the new year practically upon us, it is the PERFECT time to start to get ready for some indoor rowing racing in 2018. These races are hosted all around the world, but for those in our area, there are two main races to attend.

Last Tuesday we had our annual Indian River Relay. As usual, we selected teams the morning of the race with a similar skill level across all teams. We had four teams vying for their hands to be painted out on the dock.
