Welcome! We’d love for you to race with us!

If you wish to attend other races on your own with your own equipment, you can join our “Race Crew” so that you are eligible to race with Rowing Canada and RowOntario and and we can register you for the other races for you to attend.
Hatchets Race Crew Fees
In order to race at any sanctioned rowing races - you need to be registered as a rower with Rowing Canada and RowOntario, our federal and provincial governing sport bodies. If you have raced with another club during this racing year (April 1st - March 31st), you have already paid this amount. The link below allows you to register, and the registration fees will be passed on to us to invoice to you.
2026 Regattas Supported by Hatchets Rowing Centre
Fees for regattas are still be be finalized for this season. For a typical regatta, fees are approximately $150 - $200 + HST per participant. This covers costs for the entry fee, fuel mileage for transport of vehicles, equipment cost, use and insurance, and a minimal coaching fee. These costs do not include transportation or accommodation. This allows rowers and their families flexibility to arrange their own and to decide whether to arrive the night before for a regatta or leave early in the morning to be there. Regattas are not mandatory, and we help rowers decide which races make sense for them.
