The WHITEHALL SOLO 14 rowing shell is made by a company in Victoria, BC that builds many different types of hulls for rowing and sailing. Visit their website here.

Unlike most rowing shells, this shell is made of a co-polymer construction with a UV-Proof SolarKote which means it is ultra tough, resists sun damage, and requires very little maintenance! It can be easily stored sitting upright in a boathouse or even in the water for easy access.

The adjustable footboard allows the rower to adjust the boat to fit the shortest to the tallest person. This means your stroke is perfect for your body size.

It has lots of storage space for gear and can carry up to 660 pounds. It also has a stable platform for fishing, and for taking kids and pets along.

This shell also has folding outriggers which can be easily removed to become oarlock sockets for fixed seat rowing.

It is 14 feet long and has a beam of 46 inches. This means it is much shorter than the Mission boats and can be stored in a smaller space.

The double hull design of the shell makes the boat virtually unsinkable which means there is no need to worry while on your rowing adventure. To allow for easier drainage, the shell has a drain plug and the ability to self drain.

This shell can be rigged with a fixed or sliding seat, to row by yourself, to bring another person/pet, or for open water rowing events.
