This beautiful open water shell is 20 feet long and 20 inches wide, hence the name 20/20. It holds all the gear you could want and we often take them on our camping trips. It can also handle a huge range of water conditions, and yet, it weighs in at only 48lbs making for a beautiful row at 6am. This is an ideal boat for those who would like a stable shell for rowing on their own on flat or open water. It’s lightweight and still really moves and has the added bonus of being able to carry a camera, camping gear, a kid, a dog - whatever you’d like!

The MISSION 20/20 rowing shell is made by a company in Ontario that builds many different types of hulls for canoeing and kayaking. Visit their website here.

Unlike most rowing shells, the 20/20 has a keel on the bottom of the hull, rather than a fin, which means that it can be stored sitting upright in a boathouse or on a dock.

The adjustable footboard allows the rower to adjust the boat to fit the shortest to the tallest person. This means your stroke is perfect for your body size.

The MISSION 20/20 shell is mainly built from fiberglass material with a FoamCore and Rib structure. This allows for a reliable shell that supports the weight of the rower while getting in and out of the boat.

The carbon seat and bearing wheels allow for a smooth stroke when going up and down the slide.

To allow the shell to support the weight of a rower along with camping gear, a dog, or anything you want, the shell has both a bow and stern flotation section.

Whether it’s for exercise, cross-training, or just for family fun, the MISSION 20/20 is ideal for rowers who want a reliable shell to row on flat or open water!
